Mahi Toi – The Arts

As part of our inquiry into art from Asia, the Middle Team have been creating sculptures with clay!  We were inspired by India to create elephants and diva lamps out of clay.  Using a range of push, pull and smoothing techniques the Middle Team is so proud of the finished product.

Let’s Go Scooter Skills Programme

We have been so lucky to have the team from Let’s Go come to our school and teach us some very important scooter skills.  We learnt how to safely stop scootering quickly and the importance of a well fitted helmet!  A real highlight was practicing on the footpath where students had to check for cars coming out of driveways.
