Taranaki Intermediate Volleyball Championships 2022

The Bell Block Spikers, the inaugural Bell Block School volleyball team, recently competed in the Taranaki Intermediate Volleyball Championships. Round robin games were held over the course of the day against other intermediate teams from around Taranaki. The Bell Block team won all three of their sets 2-0. This qualified them for the semi-final and they played some close games against Devon Intermediate which came down to a tie-breaker. Ultimately, a third place finish for this tournament which is an outstanding result for a new team who only learnt to play earlier this year and who competed against teams with a long history of volleyball experience. We are so proud of how far they have come since their first game!
